Biography

Alex Bauer is co-founder of Upside, the data layer for GTM engineers. His AI Engineer World's Fair session, "How Juries and Librarians Can Solve GTM's AI Trust Problem," places him in the AI in GTM track and frames his work around the practical trust problem revenue teams face when they point Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools at go-to-market data: the tools can only answer "what actually happened, and did it work?" if the underlying data is clean, normalized, and governed. Before Upside, he spent 2016-2024 at Branch as the public voice of mobile attribution and deep-linking.
