Official Bio
Ang Li is the CEO and cofounder of Simular, the autonomous computer company connected to the AI Engineer World's Fair 2026 roster. Simular builds full-stack infrastructure for computer-use agents: systems that can operate software through a computer interface rather than through narrow API integrations. Its open-source Agent S framework was the first to surpass human-level performance on the OSWorld computer-use benchmark and won Best Paper at the ICLR 2025 Agentic AI Workshop. Simular's flagship product, Sai, extends that work into a general-purpose autonomous computer in the cloud that can operate everyday software the way a person does.
At the World's Fair, Ang is scheduled to lead 2026 06 29 ang li the autonomous computer full stack infrastructure for computer use agents, a Workshops Day 1 session on Track 1 focused on why even the strongest computer-use agents need more than model intelligence: they require the surrounding infrastructure, environments, and reliability layers that make autonomous computer operation practical. Before founding Simular, Ang was a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind working on continual learning, large-scale deep learning, and ML infrastructure. He has published more than 50 papers in top AI venues, and his work and company have been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, and VentureBeat. Simular is backed by Felicis and NVentures. His mission is to solve autonomy and enhance lives.
