Official Description
Background coding agents are quickly moving from novelty to real-world software development
workflows. Based on Greptile’s analysis of millions of pull requests across 65,000 organizations,
this talk explores how often end-to-end AI-generated Pr's are being used and how their quality
compares to human-written code. The data shows detectable agent-generated Pr's grew from under 1% in
February 2025 to 27.6% in April 2026, with early quality signals like revert rates and code churn
suggesting these agents may already be competitive in serious codebases.
